Job Summary:

The Senior Media Buyer & Planner is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across key online channels, including Google, social media platforms, OTA-sponsored placements, and specialized digital media platforms. The role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance, make data-driven decisions, and provide strategic recommendations to improve media efficiency and ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage digital media buying strategies across performance and brand channels.
  • Plan, set up, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Video), social media platforms, OTA-sponsored placements (Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda), and specialized platforms such as Sojern.
  • Define target audiences and behavioral segments to inform targeting strategies and channel selection.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance, pacing, and delivery to ensure spend efficiency and objective alignment.
  • Analyze campaign results, prepare detailed performance reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize media outcomes.
  • Identify trends, benchmarks, and new opportunities to continuously improve media planning and execution.
  • Lead annual and quarterly media budget planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to prioritize campaigns, allocate spend, and align on strategy across all digital channels.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in digital media buying and digital advertising platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing paid social media, search engine campaigns, and OTA advertising platforms. 
  • Strong analytical abilities, experience with performance measurement tools and platforms. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and provide clear insights to internal stakeholders.
